GERA protective hoods & cloths<\/h3>\n

Protective cloths are used on mowers in the forage harvesting sector to protect against stones thrown up by the blades of the mower discs or mower drums.\u00a0They also ensure the correct flow of the mown material. The side in contact with the ground is protected from wear by a welded-on PVC keder profile, while the other side is usually attached to the mower by a bolted connection. Thanks to the traditionally strict quality control, GERA protective cloths offer durability despite maximum load.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Components for self-propelled harvesters<\/h3>\n

In self-propelled harvesters, GERA components such as spraying cloths or sealing elements are mostly installed inside the machine.\u00a0Flexible elements of grain tank lids (see illustration) or cloths for maize corn heads also often come from GERA.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>

GERA SWATH CLOTHS<\/h3>\n

To ensure that the large areas of mown grass can be picked up better and faster by the loader wagon, it must first be compressed and placed in a so-called swath. Swath cloths are used for this purpose, on which the tines of the rake deposit the crop and thus shape the swath. The necessary stability is usually provided by spring steel, which is inserted into the welded bar pockets.

GERA TARPAULINS<\/h3>\n

Tarpaulins are attached to the upper rear of loader wagons and ensure that the collected crop, which is transported to the rear of the loader wagon in different ways depending on the construction, is not pushed back down via the tailgate of the wagon.\u00a0With the screen printing process used, a wide variety of lettering and logos can be applied individually according to customer specifications.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>
